Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Ivan Law (operating as Neuralworks, "we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with our iOS applications, including but not limited to: AetherLink, AetherChef, SwiftConvert, LiDAR Vision Pro, and 3D Scan & Measure (the "Apps"). By using the Apps you agree to this policy.

1. Summary

• We do not operate user accounts, servers, or cloud databases that store your personal content.
• All content you create in the Apps — bookmarks, recipes, scans, documents, notes — is stored entirely on your device using Apple's SwiftData / Core Data.
• We do not sell your personal information.
• Some Apps show advertising through Google AdMob, which may use an advertising identifier to serve ads.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store on our own servers:

• Your name, email, phone number, or address
• The content you create inside the Apps
• Your contacts, calendar, photos, or files (except when you explicitly import a file, which stays on your device)
• Your precise location

3. Information Processed Locally on Your Device

The Apps process the following information entirely on your device. It is not transmitted to us:

• User-created content — bookmarks, recipes, notes, scans, links, images, and related metadata.
• App preferences — theme, language, and display settings stored in iOS UserDefaults.
• Imported media — images or files you choose to import; processing happens locally.

4. Third-Party Services

Apple StoreKit (In-App Purchases & Subscriptions)

When you make an in-app purchase or subscribe, the transaction is handled by Apple. We receive only an anonymous receipt confirming the purchase status. Apple's privacy policy applies to the transaction: apple.com/legal/privacy.

Google AdMob

Some of our Apps display advertisements via Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) for the purpose of serving personalized or non-personalized advertising, depending on your App Tracking Transparency (ATT) choice. If you decline tracking in the ATT prompt, only non-personalized ads are shown. Learn more at Google's privacy & terms.

Apple LinkPresentation / URL Metadata (AetherLink, AetherChef)

When you save a URL, Apple's LinkPresentation framework fetches public metadata (title, preview image) from that URL. The request goes directly from your device to the target website; we do not see it.

5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

For Apps that display advertising, we present the iOS ATT prompt the first time advertising is shown. You may change your choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Declining tracking does not affect the functionality of the App.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

Because all content is stored on your device, you control retention. To delete your data:

• Delete individual items inside the App, or
• Delete the App from your device — this removes all associated local data, or
• Reset the device to factory settings.

We have no copy of your content and therefore cannot restore it after deletion.

7. Children's Privacy

The Apps are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Security

Because your content stays on your device, security is provided by iOS and by any passcode or biometric lock you enable. We recommend keeping iOS up to date and using a device passcode.

9. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

We do not hold personal data about you on our servers, so there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on our side. You may delete your data directly from your device at any time as described above. You may also contact us with questions.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Apps after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
