How do I add my first vehicle? On first launch, tap the + button in the top right of the Vehicles tab. Enter your plate number, make, model, year, and type (car / motorcycle / light truck / heavy truck). Tap Save — you can then start logging fuel and maintenance.

How is my fuel consumption calculated? Fuel efficiency is computed between full-tank refuels. For accurate readings, mark a refuel as "full tank" each time you fill up completely. The app then divides the litres used by the distance travelled between two consecutive full tanks.

What does DriveLog Pro (the paid version) unlock? The Pro subscription (HK$23/month or local equivalent) removes advertisements, unlocks unlimited vehicles, enables advanced reports and CSV/PDF export, smart maintenance reminders, and encrypted backup.

How do I cancel my subscription? Subscriptions are managed by Apple. Open iOS Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions → select DriveLog Pro → Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Pro features until the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device? Open DriveLog Pro → Settings → scroll to the Pro section → tap "升級至 DriveLog Pro" → tap "恢復購買" (Restore Purchase) at the bottom of the upgrade sheet. Your previous purchase will be restored automatically if you're signed into the same Apple ID.

How do I delete all my data? Open Settings → scroll to the bottom → tap "刪除所有資料 (Delete All Data)". You'll be asked to confirm twice. This permanently deletes your account, all vehicles, fuel records, maintenance records, tyre records, mileage records, and all preferences. This action cannot be undone.

Can I import my existing records from another app? Yes — DriveLog Pro supports importing CSV files exported from Drivvo and similar apps. Go to Settings → Data Management → "匯入 CSV（Drivvo）" and select your file.

Can I export my data? Yes — Settings → Data Management → Export Data lets you export everything as CSV or PDF, including fuel history, maintenance records, and a full vehicle report.

Why does the app need Camera access? The optional OCR (Optical Character Recognition) feature uses your camera to scan the dashboard odometer and fuel receipts automatically, so you don't have to type the numbers. Images are processed entirely on-device and are never uploaded.

Why does the app need Location access? Location is used only when you actively search for nearby fuel stations while logging a refuel. It helps pre-fill the station name quickly. Your location is not stored or transmitted.
